Discovery system
Internal linking map for stronger discovery
Internal links should help readers continue their task and help crawlers understand which pages matter most.
Map pages by job
Group pages by the task they help a reader complete: diagnose, compare, implement, measure, or decide. Each page should link to the next useful job rather than a random related post.
Use descriptive anchors
Anchors should set a clear expectation for the destination. Natural, specific anchors outperform repetitive keyword stuffing because they reduce pogo-sticking and improve trust.
Design return paths
Give tools and checklists a reason to be revisited. Link back to the guide that explains the method, and link forward to the checklist or notes that capture results.
